This 1955 double bathroom project had several challenges. All of the plumbing was in the exterior walls and the pipes froze constantly. Several years ago, someone didn't waterproof the master shower causing the framing to rot out. Hidden behind the walls were several electrical code issues including fire hazards. We never would have thought that "Sun-Dried Tomato" for the vanity color would have turned out so well in this guest bath, but our client really nailed it on the coordinating tile and paint color selections and it all looks beautiful! After install, we noticed in certain lighting that there were some scratches on the vanity top and marked them with tape. Our supplier buffed them out to deliver a perfect finish, but unfortunately that was done after we took the final pics on this one. We often have the pleasure of working with clients who are going to age in their space, so for this one we installed a deeper soaking tub with grab bars, a chair height toilet, and raised the vanity height to a standard 36 inches.
